A touch of vanilla rounds off the arrangement harmoniously. In the 16th century, Alvise Gritti founded the perfume house named after him, which is still in family ownership today. Alvise, from an aristocratic family, was interested in alchemy – it was just a small step towards creating perfumes from precious raw materials. Alvise captured the colourful and exciting life of the time in its perfumes and the brand’s perfumes are still based today on his ideas and recipes.
